Canning River Gardens

It was 1894 when the early settlers of the then Canning District formed the Canning Agricultural and Horticultural Society to hold an annual flower show in the Agricultural Hall, which in those days was the venue for community interaction.  The flower show has continued to be an integral part of the annual Canning Show to this day.

Canning River Gardens formed as a group of home gardeners who now gather each month learning how best to obtain results from a flower and vegetable garden and enjoy participation in a pleasurable pass time, providing  opportunity for the average home gardener to join with others in producing beautiful flowers and vegetables for the table and exhibition for others to appreciate the wonders of gardening.

A small annual membership fee applies.

Membership Fee $25.00
