Our Sponsors

sponsor_thanks_image1The Cannington Exhibition Centre & Showgrounds is owned and operated by the Canning Agricultural, Horticultural & Recreational Society.  The Society has played host to the annual Canning Show for over 100 years, and provides it’s members with a range of social activities, creative workshops and events.

It is with the support of our sponsors that the Society is able to continue providing Cannington and the Southeastern Metropolitan area with such opportunities.

The Society seeks sponsors annually to help keep the community active and social all year round!

There are many ways in which an individual and/or organisation can support the Society. If you are interested in being an Official Sponsor or Partner please contact Ryan Schulz – show@cahrs.com.au

Bill Johnston has spent a life time representing the interests of working people, and he is continuing that work as the Member for Cannington. He is married, with three children (aged 21, 18 and 15). Initially elected to be the Member for Cannington in September of 2008, Bill is an active  member of the Cannington community, working to help people solve problems in both their lives and their community. As an engaged member of the community, Bill Johnston holds “mobile offices” regularly on street corners in the Cannington electorate, in an effort to bring politics to the community. Bill is a member and supporter of many local groups with the belief that volunteers make where you live into a community.Through an old fashioned commitment to service and strong family values, Bill Johnston’s efforts were recognised as he was re-elected for a second term in office on March 9, 2013.

At The Couch, our goal has always been to promote the people and talent of the Western Australian community. We’ve got everything you would expect from a chat show – interesting interviews, music and movie reviews, live cooking, entertainment news, charity promotions and all kinds of live music and dance performances.

It all began in 2002, when former radio presenter Fred Mafrica established Westco Productions as the production arm behind his new community TV show. In a television landscape dominated by Sydney and Melbourne-based productions, Fred wanted to give Perth audiences their own locally-produced talk and variety program. That’s how The Couch was born! www.thecouch.com.au
